Thanks to the people who mentored and invested significant time on me, I learned 14 years ago that I should read books even when I’m not required to. But life has a way of making us prioritize the urgent more than the important. Long story short, this reading habit came to a standstill starting when I decided to take a part-time MBA together with a full-time job. Ok, I did read a few books in the past couple of years but, other than reading the Bible, it was a struggle for a good 5+ years…

But praise God for Amazon Kindle! The ability to read on-the-go allowed me to bring back this habit, a real personal breakthrough! Its “Time left in chapter” feature also motivated me to keep going, allowing me to read a few chapters of a book every couple of days.

For those who are reading this, my hope is that this will inspire you to read. It is possible to read and learn so much despite our overly-busy society. So here goes, these are the books that I have read this year:
